Description The herbaceous perennial Vinca minor 'Illumination' (common periwinkle) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bright blue and fragrant flowers during early spring to mid-fall. The showy glossy foliage is variegated, deep green and light brown in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, foundation, mass planting, vine or climber and woodland.
Special Characteristics Vinca minor 'Illumination' tolerates drought, Black Walnut and moderate foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer and rabbits.
