Description The herbaceous perennial Veronica spicata 'Icicle' (spike speedwell) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, white and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid autumn. The foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts butterflies to your garden. Veronica spicata 'Icicle' tolerates salt, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer and rabbits.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
