Description The herbaceous perennial Veronica liwanensis (turkish speedwell) bears showy, medium violet and fragrant blooms during mid spring to early summer. The showy glossy foliage is deep green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging and ground cover.
Special Characteristics Veronica liwanensis tolerates drought and light foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer and rabbits.
Cautions Be advised that Veronica liwanensis (turkish speedwell) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
