Description The tender perennial Tropaeolum minus (dwarf Indian cress) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bright yellow and fragrant blossoms. The showy matte foliage is faded green and greyish aquamarine in colour, medium in texture and aromatic.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, culinary, edging, hanging basket and vegetable garden.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds are attracted to Tropaeolum minus .
Cautions The growth rate of Tropaeolum minus (dwarf Indian cress) is fast and you should plan for this in your garden design and layout. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
