Description The tender perennial Tradescantia pallida (purple heart) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and light pink blooms during mid-summer. The showy glossy foliage is greyish aquamarine in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging, ground cover, hanging basket and house plant.
Special Characteristics Tradescantia pallida is tolerant of drought.
