Description The herbaceous perennial Tiarella cordifolia (creeping foamflower) produces showy and white blossoms during mid spring. This plant is mat forming and has showy, glossy, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting, wild flower and woodland.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits. In autumn, Tiarella cordifolia is alight with fall colour.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Tiarella cordifolia (creeping foamflower) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control.
