Description Thymus vulgaris (common thyme) bears white and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid summer. This herb is mound shaped in form and has greyish green foliage that is medium textured, evergreen and fragrant.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, annual, container, culinary, edging and vegetable garden.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Thymus vulgaris . Thymus vulgaris is tolerant of drought. In the winter, Thymus vulgaris provides winter interest.
