Description	The herbaceous perennial Stokesia laevis (stoke's aster) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, pale mauve and fragrant flowers during late spring to mid-autumn. The showy matte foliage is deep green in colour, coarse in texture and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses	Bedding plant, border, container and cut flowers.
Special Characteristics	Butterflies are attracted to Stokesia laevis .
