Description Stokesia laevis 'Purple Parasols' (stoke's aster) bears showy, pink, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to mid autumn. This herbaceous perennial is rosette in form and has dark lime foliage that is showy, matte, coarse textured and semi-evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, bedding plant, border, container, cut flowers, edging, mass planting and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Stokesia laevis 'Purple Parasols' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought.
