Description Spiraea japonica 'Flaming Mound' (Japanese meadowsweet) bears showy, light pink and repeat-blooming flowers during mid-summer to early fall. This shrub is mound shaped in form and has bright red and light brown foliage that is showy, matte and medium textured. The bark is smooth in texture. Find a prominent place in your garden for this stunning shrub which has been designated a specimen.
