Description The cactus Sempervivum tectorum (common houseleek) yields showy, bright pink and fragrant blossoms during early summer to mid summer. This plant is rosette in form and has showy, matte, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is bright red and greyish green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and vegetable garden.
Special Characteristics Sempervivum tectorum tolerates drought, pollution and light foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer. During the winter, Sempervivum tectorum continues to provide interest in your garden.
