Description Sempervivum 'Commander Hay' (hen and chicks) bears light pink flowers during early summer to late summer. The foliage is faded green and bright red in colour and evergreen.

Special Characteristics Sempervivum 'Commander Hay' tolerates drought and light foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
