Description The herbaceous perennial Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Weihenstephaner Gold' (orange stonecrop) bears showy and bright yellow flowers during early summer to mid-summer. The foliage is greyish lime in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Weihenstephaner Gold' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought and light foot traffic.
Cautions Be advised that Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Weihenstephaner Gold' (orange stonecrop) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
