Description The ornamental grass Schizachyrium scoparium (little bluestem) bears faded purple blooms during mid summer to late summer. The showy matte foliage is greyish aquamarine and greyish green in colour and fine in texture. Schizachyrium scoparium (little bluestem) yields showy fruit.
Typical Uses Border, cut flowers, dried flowers, ground cover, mass planting and wild flower.
