Description The herbaceous perennial Sanicula caerulescens (blue sanicle) bears showy and faded blue blooms during mid-spring to early summer. The foliage is dark green in colour. Sanicula caerulescens (blue sanicle) has deep red stems.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Sanicula caerulescens .
