Description The herbaceous perennial Salvia officinalis 'Berggarten' (common sage) bears showy, medium blue and fragrant blooms during early summer to mid summer. The foliage is greyish green in colour, aromatic and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, annual, border, container, culinary, cut flowers and edging.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts butterflies to your garden. Salvia officinalis 'Berggarten' tolerates drought, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer and rabbits.
