Description The herbaceous perennial Sagina subulata (awl-leaf pearlwort) produces white and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to late summer. This plant is mat forming and has showy, glossy, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover and small or miniature planting.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of moderate foot traffic.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
