Description The herbaceous perennial Sagina subulata 'Aurea' (awl-leaf pearlwort) is repeat-blooming and bears white blossoms during late spring to late summer. The showy glossy foliage is medium lime in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, container, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Sagina subulata 'Aurea' tolerates moderate foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
