Description Pulsatilla vulgaris ssp. grandis 'Papageno' (Easter flower) bears showy and medium magenta blossoms during early spring to late spring. This herbaceous perennial has medium lime and pale lime foliage that is coarse textured.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics Pulsatilla vulgaris ssp. grandis 'Papageno' tolerates drought, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
