Description The aquatic Pontederia cordata (blue pickerelweed) yields showy, bright blue and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to mid autumn. This plant is clump forming and has showy, glossy, coarse textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour. Showy fruit are produced by Pontederia cordata (blue pickerelweed).
