Description Polemonium boreale (northern jacob's ladder) bears showy, bright yellow, fragrant and repeat-blooming flowers during late spring to mid-summer. This herbaceous perennial is upright and has deep green foliage that is glossy and fine textured.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden and border.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
