Description The herbaceous perennial Phlox subulata 'Red Wings' (moss phlox) bears showy, bright red and fragrant blossoms during mid spring to early summer. The showy matte foliage is medium green in colour, fine in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, edging, ground cover and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Phlox subulata 'Red Wings' . Phlox subulata 'Red Wings' is tolerant of drought and salt.
