Description The herbaceous perennial Phlox stolonifera 'Sherwood Purple' (creeping phlox) yields showy, faded purple and fragrant blossoms during mid-spring. This plant is mat forming and has matte, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging, ground cover, mass planting, wild flower and woodland.
Special Characteristics Birds and butterflies are attracted to Phlox stolonifera 'Sherwood Purple' . Phlox stolonifera 'Sherwood Purple' is tolerant of light foot traffic.
