Description The herbaceous perennial Penstemon digitalis 'Mystica' (beardtongue) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and light pink flowers during late spring to mid summer. The matte foliage is bright red and medium green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Border, cut flowers, mass planting and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Birds, hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Penstemon digitalis 'Mystica' . Penstemon digitalis 'Mystica' is tolerant of drought and salt.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
