Description Penstemon caespitosus (beard tongue) bears showy and white blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. This herbaceous perennial is mat forming and has medium green and greyish green foliage that is matte, fine textured and evergreen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, edging, ground cover and wild flower.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. Penstemon caespitosus tolerates drought.
