Description The cactus Opuntia polyacantha (plains pricklypear) bears showy and fragrant blossoms during mid-spring to late spring. The matte foliage is greyish aquamarine and light grey in colour, fine in texture and evergreen. Opuntia polyacantha (plains pricklypear) produces showy fruit.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border and container.
