Description The cactus Opuntia microdasys var. albospina (angel's wings) bears showy, bright yellow and fragrant flowers during mid-spring to early summer. The matte foliage is faded green in colour, bold in texture and evergreen. Opuntia microdasys var. albospina (angel's wings) bears aromatic and showy fruit.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container and house plant.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Opuntia microdasys var. albospina . Opuntia microdasys var. albospina is tolerant of drought.
