Description The aquatic Nelumbo lutea (yellow American lotus) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, pastel yellow and fragrant blossoms during early summer to late summer. The showy matte foliage is medium green and greyish green in colour and coarse in texture. Nelumbo lutea (yellow American lotus) bears showy fruit.
