Description The deciduous shrub Myrica pensylvanica (bayberry) bears medium green blossoms during mid spring. This plant is rounded in form and has medium textured, aromatic and semi-evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour. The bark is fragrant. Aromatic and showy fruit are produced by Myrica pensylvanica (bayberry).
Typical Uses Border, ground cover, hedge, foundation and screening.
Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Myrica pensylvanica . Myrica pensylvanica is tolerant of drought and salt. In the winter, Myrica pensylvanica provides winter interest.
