The "bulb, corm or tuber" Muscari comosum (tassel grape hyacinth) bears showy, multi-coloured faded purple and fragrant blossoms during early spring to late spring. The matte foliage is medium green in colour and fine in texture.

Muscari comosum is tolerant of drought.
Cautions
This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
