Description The herbaceous perennial Matthiola incana (brompton stock) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, faded purple and fragrant blooms during late spring to mid-summer. The showy matte foliage is greyish green in colour, medium in texture and semi-evergreen.

Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Matthiola incana . Matthiola incana is tolerant of salt.
