Description The herbaceous perennial Linum perenne ssp. alpinum (alpine perennial flax) is repeat-blooming and bears showy and faded azure blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. The matte foliage is medium green and greyish aquamarine in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging and wild flower.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
