Description The herbaceous perennial Linum perenne 'Album' (perennial flax) bears showy, white and repeat-blooming blossoms during early summer to mid summer. This plant is clump forming and has matte and fine textured foliage that is medium green and greyish aquamarine in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container, edging and wild flower.
Cautions The growth rate of Linum perenne 'Album' (perennial flax) is fast and you should plan for this in your garden design and layout. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
