The herbaceous perennial Lamium maculatum 'Red Nancy' (creeping lamium) bears showy and faded purple flowers during late spring to mid-summer. The showy matte foliage is striped, faded green and pale yellow in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.

Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
