Description Lamium maculatum 'Pink Pewter' (creeping lamium) bears showy, light pink and fragrant flowers during mid-spring to early fall. This herbaceous perennial is mat forming and has variegated greyish green and pale yellow foliage that is showy, matte, fine textured and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics It is worthy to note that Lamium maculatum 'Pink Pewter' tolerates drought and light foot traffic, and has a natural resistance to deer and rabbits.
Cautions Depending upon your local conditions, Lamium maculatum 'Pink Pewter' (creeping lamium) may be invasive. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
