Description The showy matte foliage is greyish green in colour, fine in texture, fragrant and evergreen. Juniperus sabina 'Tamariscifolia' (savin juniper) has bark that is fragrant.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bank cover, border, edging, ground cover and foundation.
Special Characteristics Juniperus sabina 'Tamariscifolia' tolerates drought, pollution and salt, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
