Description The herbaceous perennial Juncus effusus (corkscrew rush) bears dark brown blossoms during early summer to early fall. This plant is clump forming and has showy, glossy, fine textured and semi-evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.

Special Characteristics Juncus effusus is tolerant of wet sites and salt.
