Description The herbaceous perennial Iris cristata (dwarf crested iris) bears showy, white and fragrant blossoms during mid spring. The matte foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, cut flowers and ground cover.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds to your garden.
Cautions Be advised that Iris cristata (dwarf crested iris) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
