Description The herbaceous perennial Iris 'Ann Chowning' (Louisiana hybrid iris) bears showy and bright red flowers during late winter to late spring. The matte foliage is medium green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, bog, border, container, cut flowers and pond.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds are attracted to Iris 'Ann Chowning' . Iris 'Ann Chowning' is tolerant of wet sites.
