Description The shrub Ilex glabra (inkberry) bears white and fragrant blooms during late spring to early summer. The showy foliage is medium green in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Border, hedge, foundation and screening.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
