Description The broadleaf evergreen Ilex glabra 'Shamrock' (inkberry) produces white and fragrant blossoms during late spring to early summer. This plant is rounded in form and has showy, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Border, hedge, foundation and screening.
Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Ilex glabra 'Shamrock' . In the winter, Ilex glabra 'Shamrock' provides winter interest.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
