Description The herbaceous perennial Hesperis matronalis (dame's rocket) bears showy, bright pink and fragrant flowers during mid-spring to late spring. The foliage is deep green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, border, cut flowers, mass planting and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Hesperis matronalis . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer.
Cautions Be advised that Hesperis matronalis (dame's rocket) may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control.
