Description The herbaceous perennial Geranium sanguineum var. striatum (bloody cranesbill) bears showy and bright pink flowers during late spring to early summer. The foliage is deep green in colour and aromatic.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought and light foot traffic. In autumn, Geranium sanguineum var. striatum is alight with fall colour.
