Description The herbaceous perennial Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's Variety' (bigroot cranesbill) yields showy, light pink and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid summer. This plant is spreading in form and has matte, medium textured and aromatic foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics Butterflies are attracted to Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's Variety' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought, compacted soil and salt.
