Description The ornamental grass Festuca ovina (sheep fescue) bears medium green flowers during early summer to late summer. The showy matte foliage is greyish aquamarine in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover and lawn.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Festuca ovina (sheep fescue) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control. This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
