The ornamental grass Festuca brevipila bears medium green blooms during mid-summer. The showy matte foliage is greyish green in colour and fine in texture.

Cautions
Be advised that Festuca brevipila may be invasive where conditions are favourable. In such cases it will require maintenance to keep it under control. This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
