Description The ornamental grass Festuca arvernensis bears medium green flowers during mid-summer. The matte foliage is greyish green in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, edging, ground cover and lawn.
Cautions Depending upon your local conditions, Festuca arvernensis may be invasive. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
