Description The "bulb, corm or tuber" Eranthis hyemalis (winter aconite) bears showy and bright lime blossoms during early spring to mid spring. The foliage is greyish green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, edging, mass planting, naturalization and woodland.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Eranthis hyemalis (winter aconite) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control.
