Description The herbaceous perennial Epimedium x versicolor 'Versicolor' (bishop's hat) bears showy and pale yellow blossoms during mid-spring. This plant is clump forming and has showy foliage that is dark green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, edging, ground cover, mass planting, naturalization and woodland.
Special Characteristics Epimedium x versicolor 'Versicolor' tolerates drought.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Epimedium x versicolor 'Versicolor' (bishop's hat) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control.
