Description The herbaceous perennial Epimedium perralderianum (barrenwort) bears showy and bright yellow blossoms during mid-spring. The foliage is medium orange and deep green in colour and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought.
Cautions Depending upon your local conditions, Epimedium perralderianum (barrenwort) may be invasive.
